Pitied this guy somehow, people were queuing up for freebies..and his only job is to call out the queue number. And there were like hundreds of people there. My fellow singaporeans didn't disappoint me at all. all these people made an ant's line for the freebies..sorta reminded me of hello kitty.
Moving on, i finally got the last two books i wanted. Must admit there's some sense of satisfaction when u put some effort hunting for the books. I'll probably finish half a book by tonight.
Finally mustered the courage or should i say the energy, to run around my estate. i've been putting that thought off my mind because there are a lot of cars around, really bad air. but the rain convinced me otherwise, after a light drizzle, the atmosphere's perfect for exercise. probably ran about 4 km plus until i can't take it anymore. there are up slopes too mind you. after resting for lke half an hour, watching a few kids play basketball, i decided to join them just for the fun of it.
Bad mistake, playing with young people just made me realize my mortality. Damn they are rough, keep on banging here and there. 4 to 5 years ago, i wouldn't mind the pushing and shoving, cause i do alot of that myself too. But as you age, ur bones seem to become more and mroe fragile, i've broken a few major pieces in my life. i'm scared, i've learnt my lessons.
Don't think you are invincible.
